The Tavern ...
The Weathervane Tavern celebrated its 30th year anniversary this year on Patriot's Day
in April -
30 years of serving the public with great food and drinks at fantastic prices in
a relaxed old country tavern atmosphere.
Our reputation has grown by the best means of advertising - word of mouth.
Not necessarily the easiest place to find but once found they keep coming back.
More and more people in the local area enjoyed a pleasurable eating experience
and thus introduced friends and relatives who are now among our "regular"
customers. Owned and managed by family members, the Weathervane Tavern is
looking forward to many more years of serving the North Shore and surrounding
communities of Boston with friendly service and great food.
We do NOT accept reservations - first come, first served.
All of our salads are
prepared with fresh, chilled ingredients at the time you
order. That's why you can ask for a salad made just to your preferences. All of
our lunch and dinner
casseroles are prepared fresh on the premises daily and all
entrees are cooked to order in our gas fired oven or on the grill. We do NOT
cook with a microwave! Additionally, we use pure canola oil for all of our fried
foods - a trans fat-free oil. The end result is that the texture and taste of
our
food
items keep our customers coming back time and time again - plus it's healthier
for you. We understand there are many restaurants choices on the North Shore, so
we truly appreciate your patronage!
For our 30th year anniversary, the cupola gets a new look with new siding,
glass windows, lighting and a freshly gold-leafed weathervane! Many thanks
to Ken Murray of Deacon Construction for his craftsmanship and expert
installation, and Penny of Penny's Signs for her gold leafing expertise.

Dining Hours:
Lunch is served Monday through Saturday from 11:30am
to 4:30 pm
Dinner is served from 4:30pm to 9:30pm Monday through Thursday,
Friday and Saturday from 4:30pm to 10:00pm.
